Subject: Great serenade from the past
An irish sounding singer serenading a woman it sounds like. Though the age difference seems a little much in this day and age of 2006, maybe in 1912 it was acceptable for a 21 year old to pine after a 16 year old girl. Great harmonies on the singer with the backup group. His voice comes through nice and the instruments are in the background pretty nicely and it has a slight dixie sound. The recording quality has a very noticable hiss / pops on it which is noticable but not too distracting. A great 90 year old artifact.

Subject: Who's headling here?
I don't who Harry Mcdonough is, but I really like his voice. Again, with many of the American Quartet recordings with someone, It really should be "special guest" and the American Quartet" because Macdonough is the main singer here. It's a cute song.
